Cothú Neuro-Affirming Course for Parent/Carers of Autistic Children starting Friday February 6th for 5 weeks

Classes will be 2-hours, including a break. Number of attendees will be 12, in person. On completion of this course, attendees will receive a certificate of participation and completion. Full attendance expected. Please note we have a waiting list for this programme, sign up if you know you will be in a position to attend every week in order to get the full benefit of this programme.

Learning outcomes:

·        Understanding neurodiversity and neuro-confirmative expectations.

·        Understanding the autistic perspective: their feelings, thought processes, behaviour, communicate, and learning.

·        Home: providing an autistic-informed environment to meet your child’s needs, strategies for organising and accommodating activities, and effective communication.

·        Challenging neuro-conforming demands.
